Ahhhh Belgium...how I miss thee...

Fly Away....

…still feeling sorry for myself in the health department, but I know that I’ll live ;). Feeling better as my plan seems to be coming together and I could be in Canada as early as February…I thought that it would be March at least, so I’m happy. I may also be taking a trip to South Korea in January…which would be fantastic but depends on a few things…it would also delay my visa a little as I have to be in the country whilst it’s being processed…but as I said that is just a bit of a pipe dream at the moment, if I don’t make it, then I am sure that I will be there some day…so no big deal (or so I tell myself ;). Other than the new info, nothing momentous has happened today…a lot of sniffles, but the hot honey and lemon I have just had seems to have helped a bit…hoorah for bees.

Honey & Lemon

….apparently I have a cold….great stuff…and very stuffy. It’s also accompanied by a sore (chore just to swallow) throat and peculiar feeling ears. I am feeling particularly sorry for myself. I didn’t bike back from work today; the above symptoms seemed like enough of an excuse. Won’t be biking tomorrow as I have a meeting to attend (info on the magical bit of paper that will let me into Canada for a year) …Friday will probably involve the consumption of alcoholic beverages…..so my bike is doomed to spend the weekend in the deep depths of the office….I’ll have to make it up to it ;)
The day has consisted of me seeking out anything with vitamin C and eating or drinking it. Fun, fun, fun.
Have finally managed to get my room on some sort of order, there is still work to be done, but I can at least see the tiny bit of floor that I own (my room is only a little larger than a double bed….hey, it’s London ;)
I haven’t slept properly in 3 nights…which kind of explains why I have succumbed to the sniffly evilness.
Chocolate seemed to help a little….am going to have ‘old lady’ Ovaltine before I go to bed….which will be, ‘old lady soon’….on that tempting note, I’m off.

Stroopwaffel and HOT tea

Well….I am not having much luck with this thing. My pooter isn’t happy at all! I decided to write the entry in ‘word’ and then copy and paste…so I wouldn’t lose it. Unfortunately, my computer crashed as I was in the process of copying, I therefore lost it all. It was just an inane ramble…but so is the rest of this blog! The basics were that I had a good time at the comedy show, but secretly pouted at all the jokes and quips that my girl would enjoy…and that I hadn’t had a Monday for two weeks and had no desire to go to work tomorrow….all this of course was spun ridiculously and saturated in wit….but now I’m frustrated and aware that I’m meant to be doing the sleeping thing soon….another time…

Once...Twice...Three times a post?

....pooter is playing up......starting to remember why it is that i haven't posted for so long!
In breif I've been having a fantastic time....but am sad today cause my sweet left yesterday....i hate saying goodbye to her!...on the good side we've had a blast these last two weeks! Axel didn't get to see much of London though...and it's not what you think....we managed to leave the room to visit Paris, Bruxelles, Gent, Bruges, Antwerpen and finally Amsterdam.
I have spent the last hour trying to do this thing....almost throwing my pooter out the window more than once (i'm only on the 1st floor..but i think it would do significant damage) ....now i have to go...have been moping around the house all day but have heard that there is a free comedy night on...so am going to see if i can cheer up a little....it's in a pub so there's a good chance.
I'll endeavor to write something more entertaining soon ;)
